I actually got this phone. The hate for it is malefic and unreal, for all the wrong reasons.
Huawei fans hate it because it still has Google apps and certification and soon their's won't...
Apple fans hate it because it is faster and smoother than an iPhone and here goes their basic, Android - lags argument. Samsung fans hate it because it is the new Samsung.
Old oneplus fans, and new pocofans hate it, because they can't afford it anymore.
And new oneplus fans because at +800€ it doesn't have IP certification and type - C wired bullets in the box.
I only want to rectify two lies, due to false advertising. 90hz are not perceivable, the display is not at any case better than the S10+
The battery is not at all only capable of 4.5-5sot, it's easily above 6hours with QHD+90hz

People can complain all they want about what they don't like. Their image processing is still mediocre after years. They have removed useful features increasing prices and adding breakable mechanisms taking its space, etc. Only blind and obedient sheep close their mouths and follow what OnePlus tells them.
Meanwhile, the latest innovations from BBK are always, at least, one generation Vivo or Oppo exclusive despite the already high prices, like the periscope camera. Although it doesn't matter because at the end, they'll fool you with their marketing and their next 5x optical zoom will end being 3x real one like their 3x optical is in reality 2.2x at most with digital crop.

This includes me. If you don't think it's a big deal, put some high end headphones on a LG V30 and compare it to wireless Air Pods on an Iphone. The difference is a symphony vs your local church choir.

Also, the OnePlus 7 Pro camera is good, people are hyperbolic about it. Go check Danny's comparison, it holds up against the Galaxy S10 Plus. It just needs a better imaging processing, that's all.

Disappointed oneplus fans should have a look at the ZTE nubia Red Magic 3. It is awesome! And much much muchhhh cheaper. Has everything oneplus is missing too!

In India it is a failure. I hardly see people buying, instead they are waiting for Redmi K20pro and ZenFone 6. 52k price is tag not flagship killer price tag. It’s flagship price with no 3.5mm jack, no SD card, no wireless charging. Indeed No need of ip rating. Samsung galaxy s9+, Note 9 are the better choice than 1+7 pro with some discounts. Even Galaxy S10 is better choice bcz it is coming at 50k with exchange discount at Flipkart now.

Not worth it. Samsung galaxy s9 plus is cheaper and better. Have all the essentials like 3.5mm headphone jack. SD card. Wireless charging. Better camera.

Don't be ignora... moreDidn't you hear? That wasn't even included in the box. They pulled a freakin' Apple on that and that was dumb. That should've copied Google by including a type-C headset with the phone.
Anywho you call it 'ancient' but people who hate video-audio latency and recognize that wired headphones give you much better audio quality than wireless and don't want to worry about another battery to charge know that the headphone jack is better to have than not. Especially when this phone doesn't offer wireless charging.

Oneplus 3T user. Just about to get a new phone when 7 pro came out. But the camera is disappointing according to a lot of reviews. I like Oxygen OS but the 90hz screen and no headphone jack is a deal breaker. And I switched to Samsung S10e. They are the same price buying in China.

*The majority will not need waterproof and waterproof doesn't mean that your phone will be 100% unharmed*
The 3.5 mm jack is dead maybe its good so... Using earphones in the public evrytime, thats something very one does, but u just make the volume max cuz there are to much noises and then you could damage your year..
Now you gonna use it less and some peoples will buy a headphone and that will block the major sounds from outside so you will listen with a small volume...
