This guy... moreNo check this trump himself is the one that said the truth about banning huawei you need just to use your brain while reading (I'm looking at you american kids)
"Huawei is something that’s very dangerous. You look at what they’ve done from a security standpoint, from a military standpoint, it’s very dangerous. So it’s possible that Huawei even would be included in some kind of trade deal. If we made a deal, I could imagine Huawei being possibly included in some form, some part of a trade deal."

a suggestion to huawei- this only addresses the situation with google and android, why not acquire blackberry from tcl? i am not sure if the tcl acquisition also included the blackberry os, but if it did it would be a viable alternative to android. or they could just license the os for use with their devices. bbos 10 can install both blackberry and android apps, so all they just would be needing to work on will be optimization to the touchscreen ui as bbos is more optimized to using hardware input and navigation provisions. no need for devs to work so hard on making their apps/games work. unlike sailfish, meego, tizen, etc- at least bbos had fans and wouldn't take as much effort to market an entirely new os.

Why we don't just go and ask China's very own neighbors, if they trust the USA or China more?

Unless you meant that everyone tries to get out of US's reach. I'd like that but it would be a very long and tedious process. Get rid of everything American in your current tech. Replace it. And then expand. It's far from impossible. And yes that would allow a new era of technology.
Though the US will still be competing. And they have resources beyond what anyone else has to offer at the moment. So you must not only match the US' current tech, but also beat them.

We'll expect a bunch of sales, eh? I wouldn't mind upgrading my P10 plus to a P30 plus for cheap. Grab a tablet and a new laptop too if they're going for cheap.
* Hey, GSM, can you crack down on the Chinese bots? They're taking away from a thoughtful, critical, intelligent discussion.

Because US was not allowed to spy on Huawei. If there is a big security threat on this, it is the US who spy even on its allied countries.

I feel like this will triggered a new era of revolution in technology. People will try harder and invent more things in expectation that the US might abandon them one day.
