S10+ 1TB version cost 1650 euros. Month before Xmas will cost around 649 up to 749 euros which will be 60% less and they will still earn tns of money.
Saw that with S9 and S9+ in official samsung store here in Slovakia.

AnonD-731363, 25 May 2019Grats and in Europe even A40 cost 350 bucks. Which is way... moresamsung website prices A50 around £309 in the UK, which would be about similar with dollars. These are prices including taxes too, and currently promotion include cashback (i think £40)

Obviously cheaper through 3rd party vendors (amazon is about £280-£290)..so maybe its just in your country? Price is competitive with cashback offer from Samsung

Cut priced A50 is still not desirable because of poor camera performance. Let see how K20 and pro / F2 opens in India.

India is a price conscious market. Xiaomi's success proves that.
Decision to buy a gadget is weighed by price tag against all the other parameters. And that's the reason why bbk siblings ( OPPO VIVO ONE+) have gained the status of established brands.

In India, Samsung was well established, till the GOT (game of price tags) changed the scenario. that's the reason Samsung slashes prices of a phone launched few months back.( Apple does it only when a new iPhone is released). This is purely for buyers to know that even they are affordable.

Seems like GSMArena is popular in India, so they gotta publish every price drop article; That's not so different than what many US sites do on their deals page...
Informing people of price drop, even if it is just a few bucks is fine, maybe people might benefit from it...
