AT&T breaks smartphone sales record in Q4, still posts a loss

26 January, 2012
A big part of the net loss is attributed to the failed T-Mobile merger that cost AT&T $4 billion.

If they want more sale then they have to bring more high end profile smartphone not just wait for the iphone to come out.

"In specific numbers, that's 9.4 million smartphones sold in Q4 of 2011, 7.6 million of which were Apple-made"

That's HUGE numbers for Apple, damn they are doing well :)

even if they subtract out the 6 billions loss from purchasing t mobile they still have 3 billions on top of that..whatever.. AT and T sucks and slow as hell.

Well yeah ppl less and less want these low end phones now, compared to what you can get for a low price on contract, these smartphones are interesting. But these data plans are too expensive in my opinion

with the volumes of their subscribers they should cut the costs of their services and monopolize everything! :p
