The real update that we're waiting for here is the stable gcam port that supports all gcam's functionalities. Please Oneplus, go cooperate with devs of gcam ports just like xiaomi did in order to achieve this faster. Your camera is nowhere near flagship and you really need gcam. Even my Redmi note 7 camera now performs better than my Samsung S9+ because of gcam. So please, get your priorities right.

Those that already received the 9.5.4 las week has the global version firmware that already include it and can be readed in the screen update. So he is right with his version and that one include the fix. It is confirmed in the OP forums... the update for the camera MEH, nothing noticiable.

It's not an image quality upgrade. Camera on OP7 is midrange and there is nothing wrong with it unless you apply flagship stigma to it and expect something like Samsung, Sony, Huawei etc.

Unfortunately I must say the photo quality is OK but definetely not improved that I have noticed. Also the very small options for video recording...Hope future updates will solve that else I go for some Gcam mods. Otherwise the phone is a killer and I totally love it.

With its original firmware it made worse shots than OnePlus 6T/6.
