    Faster charging does not cause fire.
    It was bad battery design choice in the Note 7 that caused fire ... even with 'slow' charging.

                AnonD-794217, 29 May 2019Who doesn't want their phone fully charged less than a hour?Man i have moto X4 from 2017 it can charge from 0 to 100% in like 40-45 minutes and no problems.
                Who would leave its phone many many hours on a charger waiting for eons when he needs to quickly top up the battery and move along.

                            This will cook a lipo cell under 6000-7000mah over that capacity upto about 14000mah they'll get super warm (as a 4.2v cell) higher cell count to raise the voltage will greatly decrease heat as there will be less current.

                                    Seriousy trust on samsung on charging and fast battery , i wouldn't do that . I am not a hater of Samsung but after that many events, Trust is something most of people already loosed.

The world is not changing one bit if you not sharing the tech with others. This one Samsung making is going to be used for every brands out there. Samsung is a supplier don't forget that. That is how to innovate and actually change the tech world.

                                        I just can't think of a reason why it could be a bad idea...
