The front: is ok but by now punchhole camera should have be moved closer to bezel.
The back: black areas on white background are aestheticaly like holes.
Plus the shapes that are not harmonicaly designed.
The biger is a rectangle whith four rounded corners and the small looks like a capsule pill. Huawei's loolks better

The S10 and S10+ have gorgeous backs. The horizontal camera arrangement works because there is no fingerprint scanner below like on the Note 9. It looks really clean. The only phone with a better looking back would have to be the S9+.
If you're going with a vertical arrangement, having it in the centrak axis of the back is so much better than this Note 10 design.

Sony was never that good at phones, except from the camera, screen and in some the audio. Their design for me at least isn't that good and their isn't an all around high-end phone, they cut corners(mostly battery, IP certification, older gorilla glass versions, older or/and not the most powerful SoC available for their high-end models, less RAM than the competition, sometimes unoptimized OS, no fingerprint sensor in some regions etc.) sometimes. Personally my I'm mainly a Samsung user but at the tech shop that I work when we test the devices before we put them as demo units, I can say that I tested many devices (not thoroughly cause of time) and my favourites(for android) were the Samsung and Xiaomi ones.
Also from where I am with every passing year, formerly well known brands start to disappear. No blackberry, no Motorola, no HTC, almost no LG, almost no Sony, the phone that sell the most are the ones from Samsung, Xiaomi, Huawei and Apple!

In term of back cover design, I say No, because it will look similar with other phones. No signature design at all.

The being the next higher level flagship from galaxy 10 stable, the main camera sensor may be the new 1/1.7" size. A step ahead of 1/2" sensor. It would have been nice if the selfie side is a swiveling main camera. The day is not far away when tele photo camera too gets larger sensors like this. Then the camera and mobile will be merged in full sense.

Anonymous, 30 May 2019There are many phones with the chin smaller than iphonename a few which have smaller chin than iPhone , I don't think any phone has smaller chin than iPhone as it take a toll on display cost when u fold the display in bottom to make adjustment in the display driver position.

No, I've decided not to get a Galaxy Note this year. Pretty much the same as my Note8, and I don't see the point of having bigger and bigger screen sizes every year. I went back to a 5.8" and I am so glad that I can hold it properly again.

It's just sad Samsung is not able to keep up with Huawei's flagships nowadays, I used to love their phones so much. It's true Samsung's flagships still offer the headphone jack, microSD card slot and look more premium but nowadays Huawei offers better cameraphones with better battery life plus the IR port.
Today there are only two phones that offer almost everything I need in a smartphone :
1 - the Xiaomi Mi Max 3, the only things remaining to make this phone a perfection for me are the flagship SoC and cameras (which I can live without)
2 - the Asus Zenfone 6, the IR port is the only thing missing from this phone to make it perfect.

It was more symmetrical and simply made more sense, even with four cameras, like de S10 5G. It will now wabble on the table. Moreover, why on Earth would I want that hole to be centered!? It should be as close to the sides as possible. It is normal that our eyes' attention is located towards the center of something. It is now more obtrusive than ever. It is worse than ever.
