It's a big feature for me, since I type a lot on my phone. There are also minor things like full screen display(no notch) and warp charge, but they are minor. The haptic motor is the main one for which I paid 16k extra(maybe I'm the only one crazy enough to do that)
I agree that the regular OP7 is a better deal, however it's not a better phone/package.

You curse 1+ when they price the phone higher, now you curse them because they dint upgrade the display on the base model. How can you get the price down and have all the features?
You also have to think about the company. Why would anyone buy the 7 Pro over the 7 if both had HDR10 and 90Hz when the 7 costs 150$ less? Just use your brain for once.
The Vanilla 7 is actually a better package than the 7pro, at least here in India. It is not at all worth to invest 15k more just for the display(the extra cameras are s#!T anyways).
The only gripe I have is the design. But its fine, the 6 dint look that different than the 5T, and the 6T dint look that different than the 6 before it. So its fine. You are getting a lot more than the people who bought either of the previous flagships.

'OnePlus had made a point to mention the loudspeaker on the bottom of the 7 Pro is now on the right so it’s harder to avoid covering it with your hand while gaming or watching videos. Unfortunately, the speaker on the OnePlus 7 is still on the left, so it’s just as easy to cover as it was on the 6T.'
Shouldn't it be 'it is harder to cover it with your hand while gaming or watching videos.'

Why did they downgrade the screen..? 90 Hertz screen and HDR10 capability...this should be new features of all the OnePlus 7 family..i'm very disappointed there..
