Nothing new. Overthrottled CPU to attain highest benchmark score in Antutu and cheap parts to reduce the price. The only flagship item in this phone is SD855. Completely overpriced for the quality it.

How a phone with su... moreYour knowledge about Chinese phone manufacturers is obviously very limited, been using xiaomi for over 5 years, my old mi 3 and mi 5 are still working and i've got little to complain about my current mi 8. If you're ok with using Samsung or Apple is fine, i don't see the point of commenting on this article

Who wants a 6GB+256GB version? I am not a power user but internal storage is most for me. So to keep the price down they could have released a 256GB version with less RAM.

How a phone with su... moreI was skeptical of Xiaomi at first too but since they let you unlock bootloaders, I have no problem and solely look at the specs. I will flash custom roms immediately, and my old Mi 4i's SD 610 may heat up easily, it's decently fast on LineageOS 15 compared to MIUI 10.

I think this phone is not beatable by your opinion as it has a lot fans in the middle east world who will warship a mobile with same as this one in price and in it's quality.
Note : not all the Users are having enough money to afford such luxury in phones.

3 brands that sell you pretty much useless hardware with 200% of over price to get as much profit as possible. Apple even does low quality cables so they would broke down fast and you go buy more of there insanely over priced cables.

Xiaomi's marketing budget is very low, the other brands spend billions more on advertising.
