OnePlus tried it on OP 7 Pro and it backfired completely - most reviewers are actually COMPLAINING about this size, because it's simply uncomfortable to use with one hand, which is a major flaw with a phone that's supposed to be a daily driver.

Phone is not a tablet, there's a limit in how far you can go without getting counterproductive. This limit is roughly 6". Anything above that, might as well use a 10" tablet, since carry options heavily limited and one-hand usage is virtually murdered.

    That's just your opinion. If 'bigger is always better' there wouldn't be so many compact-ish devices popping up lately, often with higher price tag just for the sake of being smaller. Galaxy A20e in my country costs the same as Note 7 and people are buying it anyway because a lot of people simply find the idea of phablets idiotic.

      Type C usb, mini jack, at least 4000 mah, faster processor than 710, all metal/glass, 6GB ram at least, SD memory, NO notch, NO Notch... and NO notch, full display only.

        It's 2019, and 6.3" screen size is pretty average. Gone are the days when 3.9" was a huge screen. Now we are using our phone for multimedia, web browsing and more gaming. So this time Honor should release 9x with 6.7" screen with kirin 970 and 6gb RAM base variant with Good optics (prefer Sony 586 with telephoto + wide angle) and 4000 mAh+ battery with type C and support for fast charging.

              AleonN, 04 Jun 2019Why do you see a bump in screen size as an improvement ? T... moreWell, a lot of us also have big hands and use their phone for media and web navigation (it's half a sarcasm, Don't worry, I understand the need of smaller phone too, they should be every size)
              But we agree that android is not done for one hand anyway, whatever the size of the phone. The only OS that never asked you to reach the far top of the screen is now dead for long.

              Also, the increase in lenght is for me far worse than the size. 19.5:9 ratio is really horrible for one hand use, when 16/9 was good ans 18.5/9 ok. But that's a easy way to increase the size number while the screen is in fact smaller in surface. That's why actual 6" phone are not that big compared to older 5" phone, not the same ratio at all.

                Why do you see a bump in screen size as an improvement ?
                There are still a lot of us that want a good, one-handed device

                      Depends on size... 8X had 6.5-inch display which is a tablet... If they manage to make a phone (under 6 inch) this time around they will have something to work with.

Do you really think that Huawei's phone is better? Definetly it will have some issues and for Huawei it is better to blame Google and not release it yet.

                              Kirin 710 again..Huawei needs to upgrade there processors once a year atleast..

                                  Yes only if it comes with Ark OS from huawei. But 10W of charger?! Oh come on..

                                    No news on the Mate X still. C'mon, Huawei. It is best, even for a dragon, to know who rules the skies. Squash that pride, and make a deal.

                                        Only interested if it comes with Huawei OS.
