People calls it gimmicky & condemn it when they doesnt even experience it in real life.

booldega, 04 Jun 2019Great ! The next Exynos GPU could be as least as powerful a... moreThe Mali GPU has caught up a bit but still lacking behind the Adreno gpu has 900 flops of power which is quite a lot now compared to the Mali at 700 flop of power the ps4 gpu is only 1900 so it could get close in a few years but they need to sort of the heating and throttling first

Interesting that technically adreno is AMD's property that's is basically gonna compete with itself now

Reduce dependance by developing their own gpu is a good thing. More competition also a good Thing for common ppl. ARM currently too strong, and not neutral. Hopefully, Samsung will develop new architecture for CPU next, free from backdoors if possible.

I really wonder what they'll do for the Switch Pro then. Custom Tegra X3? Or disappointingly just a less downclocked X1?

We are talking about Radeon GPU here. Fyi, AMD processor is not overheating as it was many ancient years ago. As for the Radeon GPU, it is AMD custom graphics IP based on the recently announced RDNA architecture. It is newly designed architecture. NEW. Stop being stuck in the past.
