Still have my MiBand 2, works well. Sadly the app isn't as enjoyable since it wants GPS on at all times now, seemingly.

Hope they'll keep the prices low still, perhaps bring some noticeable improvements.

The circular logo on the display is xiaomi's smart assistant, xiao ai, curious you guys didn't recognize it. It will be interested to see an AI enabled fitness band. I'm using mi band 3 NFC and it's great, i would say a very useful device especially due to the NFC (i use it to pay for the transportation and I find it very convenient) and I also get weather alerts that are very accurate plus the vibration function for messages, calls and most importantly the alarm

Assuming the version with NFC works with Google Pay, this would be an great way to add contactless payments to non-flagship devices which typically don't include NFC chips (e.g. variants of the Moto E and Moto G series).

Anonymous, 04 Jun 2019Amazfit Stratos with eSim and Wear 3100 !!Sadly the one upcoming in June 11 is the Verge 2. A model with only 6 months old while the Stratos is around one and half year old. The Verge is only a cheap plastic watch with good features but no near the premium Stratos with quality constructions, sapphire variant, carbon fiber and 5 ATM for swimming, even with FirstBeat metrics. The Verge is only IP68, not for swimming of sports, it lacks of physical buttons too, only one. The touch screen doesn't work well with wet hands while running.

Sadly i expect more of the same of the Verge 2 next week. Plastic, only IP68, and more oriented for daily use, now with eSim and additional features. Is not the premium revolutionary watch that their CEO talked last year. So we will have to wait several months more for that one. With le little versions of the Bip and Verge released last week they clearly has give preference for the cheap watches first.

You "expect the product to be the first in the family with a color display"?
It's right there on the invitation!
