Am i the only one who thinks the back of the phone shown in the article looks nothing like the back of k20? Here, the back camera is on the left side.

DK007, 05 Jun 2019How is this possible it has Snapdragon 855 and has better m... moreBecause this is the SD730 version, not the SD855 Pro version.

9T Pro should have IR and wireless charging - I love that notchless screen but the lack of those features is a deal breaker for me.
Now the only chance for a great phone from Xiaomi this year is the Mix 4

is this model available in malaysia

AnonD-241270, 05 Jun 2019you dont get the point, is not about a 0.10 cents IR blaste... moreI don't think the Mi 9T is a succesor to the Mi 9, as it's cheaper, you're comparing too much with OnePlus.
It has a bigger battery and design, I haven't used wireless charging, it's not really my cup of tea when USB C is a reversible connector and charges at 27W, if it was still micro USB time, I would probably have tried wireless charging.
Then I also never used IR blaster, even though it's on my phone.
The point is, some people will still buy it, as we all don't have the same priorities.

AnonD-241270, 05 Jun 2019you dont get the point, is not about a 0.10 cents IR blaste... moreWe can never understand whether a decision is technical or political, unless we're the insiders. Are you sure that IR blaster takes less than a millimiter of space? I believe you know an IR blaster doesn't only require the emitter LED but also the power supply contact and controller so that it can be programmed to send certain signal, right? Combined and packed, they eat 5mm of space already. While if you take a look at the teardown (https://youtu.be/FUkhwt0Q_TE?t=276), that top space is already crowded (closer look: https://youtu.be/FUkhwt0Q_TE?t=318). Unless... the 3.5mm jack is removed instead, then more people will complain.

Shame on the camera downgrades though.

How is this possible it has Snapdragon 855 and has better memory but the score is too low for this device Comparing to the S10 pls refer the below link-

Donbenie, 05 Jun 2019I don't get why people always have something to whine about... moreyou dont get the point, is not about a 0.10 cents IR blaster that Xiaomi can put and make users happy and even, they can put 1 or 2 dollars more in the price, a lot of people wont bother to paay extra 3/4/5 dollars, but is better they give the feature.

people dont know what a IR blaster can do to your life, make it simple and easy, you get home or you go somewhere and just want to play and take the phone out and play with the TV, AC cooling or even radio...

you buy a S10/S9 or phones without IR Blaster you feel "wow i pay 1000 bucks for this, i have the best phone in the world" - i can tell you, i dont buy expensive phones, i search for the ones who have things i like, and even i dont have the latest and greatest i see people with phones better than mine see me using IR Blaster and asking me: what app is that, what are you doing? etc etc....

So, a flagship phone can be as beauty and eye catching, but dont have that extra appeal...IR blaster give the phone that extra "wow" for people who dont know what it is (pobably a person like you too).

So, if Mi9T/K20 Pro is the sucessor of a flagship Mi 9, why they are remove this thing? is a less than millimiter of space they occupie, why they do that?!

I always have LG phones cause of IR blaster, G3/G Flex2/V10 all true flagships for me, cause have features i like, not to be trendy cause i dont want to be trendy, i want to have features that i use and see eyes looking at me cause im greatest to have things that most of people dont, and not looking at me cause i have the most expensive phone of the market and millions of people have the same phone and that is not eye catching cause people already know what that phone is.

Start using IR blaster, start using stereo speakers, wireless charging, use it for 1 or 2 years and after that you will not regret, the only thing you will regret is buy a new phone without that features.

i know what i talk about, i have a G6 now, no IR blaster and sometimes i really need it, and i get frustated not to have it, tahts why my next phone will be the Mi 9 and not K20 Pro/Mi9T cause, i have waited for the Mi9T and hoped they will get the same features of Mi 9...well, it didnt.

Donbenie, 05 Jun 2019I don't get why people always have something to whine about... moreYep these are fair compromises for the money (Even the lack of SD, which can be compensated by buying bigger storage variant), while things like removing 3.5mm jack and poor batteries are not.

AnonD-241270, 05 Jun 2019well, that T is for ToNotBuy, as beauty this device is, Xia... moreI don't get why people always have something to whine about, most phones, even the ones that cost hundreds of dollars don't have IR Blaster and yet millions are being sold..
The K20 costs much less than half of most Flagships and yet it is being condemned for lack of water protection..
Why don't you all go and make your own handsets and include every possible feature available and then hand it out for free..

How about a different name in every country of sale? Really gonna liven things up.

well, that T is for ToNotBuy, as beauty this device is, Xiaomi just cut corners and what people love in Mi 9 (wireless charging, IR Blaster) - is nowhere to be found even in K20 Pro.

Hope this doesnt mean they will not include a IR Blaster anymore but is a forgeten feature they miss out to put.

Well, Mi 9 everyday over this. Same specs almost, with more features...and cheap right now.
