Huawei is the biggest telecommunications company and its chinese.
So why wasn't China the 1st country to do 5G.
European countries are doing it faster and phones like S10 5g are benefitting.
Don't give me no bull about it 5G isnt mainstream and its better to wait. If thats the case they shouldnt make the Mate X a 5G device, and wait till 2020 like Apple to release a 5G device.

The last Oracle, 06 Jun 2019The problem with Huawei was that it had Genuine 5G tech, un... moreYou're right that it was one of the reasons but the main reason is the trade war, Trump has already said if there was a deal Huawei would be involved even though he mentions a couple of seconds earlier that they are "very dangerous" its just two countries taking pot shots at each other and it all started when Tariff increases started, they need to sort it out before it starts causing more adverse effects on the rest of the world, e.g. another war.

The problem with Huawei was that it had Genuine 5G tech, unlike its US counterparts, and could create a mini monopoly. Considering the enormity of the loss the government and smartphone companies and networks would lose, the US administration intervened and blo led Huawei under some rubbish order.

I'm italian and I couldn't care less. The problem is the fact that the 4G or 5G or what else *don't offer unlimited data*.
5G is just a marketing joke.
