I really want HTC to do well, they should make more phones, more than Sony, less than Nokia, that would be good enough, also fair pricing and specs will do the job.

2014 phones had much larger bezels. 70% was uncommon.

If HTC really hasn't learned by now that people actually care about the specs they get for money invested then they don't deserve a single penny from anyone.

Looks promising. Front nicely spaced. It could go well. hope the back is not that lollipop coloured shiny backs. Otherwise a nice return to some solid good phones.

HTC going notchless and bezel less for their first 2019 phone, I agree. That would be a decent way to come back into the phone game. They keep showing this boring old design for high price not going to bring sales up. At least do a low cost+low specs notch phone like Xiaomi.

as soon as their Desire range disappeared for a while, the company was declining then when they brought it back, it wasnt really working out for them

Whew! It feels like yesterday when the Galaxy Note 9's bezels that are similar to this is still adequately thin!

Hole is not only ridiculous and annoying, but ugly.
Better have the screen with 100% useful area.
U12+ has better front design than S10 pr iphone xs

Do you want them to ruim media experience by using fugly hole or give up on IP68 by using pop up or slider selfie?

This type of design in 2019 is why HTC has been having issues marketing it's products. In a world where tech firms re looking for new creative ideas and eye catching design HTC is still manufacturing a phone with huge bezels.

Like other phone makers some people perfer the older desgin rather then new desgin. I hate full screen phones. And notches and thin body's. And bigger screens and no headphone jacks. If it works it works. Why change somthing when it does well
Its not that there being lazy its cause they know it works well with people.
Nothing wrong with mid range phones either.
