One concern with these new Nokia phones that they seem to be dual SIM but the second SIM only works on GSM / 2G and in my part of the world it's a waste of time as no GSM any longer. Am I reading the specs correctly??

May be stock clearing sale before launch of Nokia 9! I love Nokia phones but really hate those ugly notch, otherwise I would have bought this phone at current price.

64Gb eMMC storage.... moreIt is. That phone doesn't exist here. The gap between 7 Plus and old Nokia 8, Nokia 9 is too big, 350 euros of difference between them. The Nokia 8 and 9 cost 600 euros here and the 7 Plus cost 250 euros.
At this time, i see even better that they delay something in the middle and renew their models. An updated 8.2 with underdisplay fingerprint sensor and a price between them could sell well here. Or an alternative to the Nokia 9, with other philosofy, in the form of Nokia 10. The Sirocco is still on sale here for 800 euros... The prices here aren't as good.

They should have launched this phone for this price.. now this phone is really worth buying. Note it is 6 months old. But price cut is really superb. Thought of buying it when reduced the price to 21000 INR just 1-2 week back. They were giving some huge offer on it 6000 INR off on 4gb version and 4000 inr on 6gb version. Yet with such offer it was costing 21000 INR for 4gb model. Now without any offer same is available for inr 19000. Feeling like i made good decision by not purchasing it then.
Best buy under 20000inr if you are not considering poco f1.

For some that still are looking for a new phone can be a good alternative, but again, now there is more modern and appealing phones from other brands. Good for those that are considering this phone.
What will they release as Nokia 8.2? The last time they downgraded it from a flaship to a mid-range. Will they do the same with Nokia 9 and 8.2 for make room to the Nokia 10?Who knows. They recently downgraded the Nokia 2.2 from Qualcomm to Mediatek, removing the stereo speakers and with a crap display. So we will see what they do with the Nokia 8.2

It's amazing mobile. I purchased it 4 months back at 27000..everyone should purchase this amazing mobile. If only they had launched this mobile at 22 or 23k
