This ban will effect the us companies doing business with Huawei as much as it impact Huawei, since Huawei is now 2nd largest smartphone seller.
The tech giant Google has also asked the us govt that the ban can be a threat to us national security making reason that Huawei new OS can be a source for data leak.

To be honest, this could workout best for Huawei if it makes a deal with the Trump administration.
1) Americans know Huawei as a premium brand now.
2) Making a deal with Trump can open doors to major US carriers like BestBuy, AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile to sale Huawei devices. (Huawei's awesome 8K TVs at BestBuy, Wal-Mart, etc)
3) Reach more markets that it didn't know possible.

All that would happen is Huawei businesses would just rotate to its rivals.
Nokia and Ericsson 5G program would greatly increase.
Apple, Xiaomi, Samsung, etc. phones sales would increase drastically.
Huawei is not even known in the states until all this bad media press came out on it.
Keep sadly dreaming. Stick a fork in Huawei if it keeps on refusing to make a deal with the Trump administration.

The real truth here is the rollout of the 5G as US try to blocl Huawei to supply 5G in US & other allies as this will affect GDP growth of US, IF Huawei is real threat to National Security of US, how can they say that the ban can be lift if they will add Huawei as part of the WAR TRADE? Means US will sacrifice national security just for the WAR TRADE? And its TRUE till now there's NO PROOF OF EVIDENCE against HUAWEI.
