The J series were a popular brand in India and some countries in Africa, which I might add were budget friendly phones, now to introduce more people, a nice price mark needs to be set, hence, A10 is going for $120, A20 $160, A40 $190, A50 &260 as the time I write this.

I think the size-difference in their "e" models is much too small. Just 3-4mm narrower and maybe 6-7 shorter.
There definitely needs to be more 60mm wide phones with thin bezels. If the phone must go down to 2500mAh battery then so be it. People who just play games on their phones will not buy a small-size phone anyway.

I already bought a50 from B&H about a week ago for 279,99+tax with 64gb tf card gift + free sim card and 3 months free Mint Mobile service with data.

They did more than once. The J phones for USA (and the handful that got to Canada) often had Exynos. J3 2016 for AT&T, J3 Pop (Prime, some variants come with an Exynos 7570 Quad in USA/Canada), J3 Top (again for some variants like AT&T and Canada), J3 V and J7 V (Both with E7884)... The last 3 were released last year.
They don't show that on GSMArena's specs page but that's because frankly that's such a messy situation with almost all carriers having their own processor...

I had been wondering about a lack of mid range handsets ... with more than 4 gb of ram via North American retailers. If those A series models launch in the states with Exynos chipsets, Qualcomm will could be amenable... because ( in part) Sammy is allegedly going to be partnering with Qualcomm for Snapdragon 865 SoC's ... supposedly as early as this Fall lithography wise.

Anonymous, 12 Jun 2019A10e $180, i got A10 cheaper $80 cheaper weird. I think it depends on the region and how the market is. I got the A20 for about $17 USD in Kenya. Affordable to steer people to leave Oppo, Tecno or Xiaomi.
