Low profit margin, high volume.
For example India.
Even Oppo got into the action by rebranding certain phones as 'Realme'. Xiaomi also launched the Pocophone F1.
Huawei's transgressions are much more than just phones. Other Chinese phone manufacturers need not worry.

U know if apple and major players in mobile market would do this it would be a great deal breaker but obviously there so drunk in profits that would never happen.

I would prohibit anything which will void warranty like custom rom instalation.
Compared to Samsung, Apple, Sony, LG UI also known as Bloatware Mui is smooth and well working and have constant updates.

This phone has a very big potential if they will add more LTE bands frequency for north America, Canada, south america, this will be a big seller worldwide! Bigger than oneplus 7pro for the bucks once LTE frequency band for other country added. Hoping for the best for this phone that they will unlock those band this is for a sure is capable since it has latest chipsets inside.
