The thing bother me the most is the phone automatically reboot if it cannot detect sims. Why? That's mean I cannot take SD card out without the phone turning off?

The Lu... moreMan, to still complain about the camera is pretty hilarious, you really are expecting alot, the camera is on par with the best, what more do you want? The battery is somewhat disappointing, but i think it's pretty harsh to be disappointed, this phone is a absolute beast.

The Xperia 1 is slightly disappointing to be honest. The LuTs are an LG legacy, which it introduced a while ago. The Xperia lineup has introduced many firsts, from first 4k Display, first HDR display(?), first phone with water and dust resistance, first HDR video etc.
Unfortunately, for the most important thing, it has probably taken a few steps backwards. Sony should have improved the photo and video capabilities of the device, especially since it had been advertised with various filmmaking capabilities. They should have had multi frame HDR video with dynamic range over the iPhone XS Max with Filmmic Pro, should have super HDR photo capabilities over all major flagships, and their low light should have been improved to be better than the night modes on various phones.
If things can be improved via firmware, then Sony should make these improvements, and definitely do them on a war footing.

Look at youtube and you know people around da world like da latest of Sony.yes they are not without flaw One day I want to see them go all out in all department not only da display but more bytes in Sound and more memory more watts in da battery and more pixels in da lens. But honestly I know why they dont do this cause people just say just want and when there is dat all around mobile phone beast, they dont buy cause They cant afford it :)

I see nothing in these photo samples that makes me want to ditch my XZ2. same amount of noise, don't see any improvement in night shots.
I'm most interested in capturing video in the 21:9 aspect ratio and playing around with the CineAlta app. But none of the review sites (including GSMarena) seem to ever get around to reviewing it - as if these reviews were put up hastily to be the first. sigh
for those who have the Xperia 1, how's the stabilization when recording in 21:9 compared to Xperia 10/10 plus? resolution and FPS options in recording 21:9?
has the 960fps slow motion capture been ported from the Xz2/xz3 series? how have they improved?
