Root your poco, delete the apps I mentioned. Then you will see the difference on both performance and battery! But yes, I'm sad to hear that your app is useless and I hope it didn't cost much.

My point was, SO WHAT IF YOU CANNOT DISABLE THEM?

They are not running in the background. They are not using any RAM, CPU or GPU.
Why make a problem out of nothing?

But no sync means data loss, if you change or add something. Yes you can block them for most access to the phone, but it still pop up from time to time, if you want to activate it for security. You also keep getting updates for it, so yes it runs in the background. Try to use any other brand, uninstall or disable those things, and you will see that they aren't running in the background. I have pocophone myself, and love it. I just wish they would be like the others on that exact point.

Zendroid, 18 Jun 2019Google drive, duo, photos, books, music, video. Mi music, v... moreNone of these apps run by themselves in the background. They only run if you start them. They use zero resources from your running system and only use an insignificant amount of storage on today's phones.

You can hide them, in many ways. In the Poco launcher go to app drawer and double swipe to the left side, you are now in the hidden app icons section, here you can put all the apps you never want to see. If you're not using poco launcher, then there are other ways in other launchers, and you can also hide them with certain apps - such as "hide it pro" and various file managers.

Google drive, Chrome, Youtube and Gmail are required by google btw. No Google android certification without them.

I can't see any, I even installed advanced task manager and gave it usage permit and still not bloat apps visible. And now Adavanced task manager is uninstalled :-)

Only apps currently running are Instagram, Outlook, Spotify, Messenger, Xiaomi Home and Snapchat. Of all which I've installed and use.

As for services running , it's a bit difficult running without SystemUI and Systemstarter.
I've also opted to use the "find device" feature and it "steals" a whopping 13MB of RAM. Xiaomi framework uses 15MB of RAM. Combined these two uses 0.45% of my RAM. Other basic services that are independant of phone manufacturerer, like Bluetooth and SIM Tookit each uses about the same as those two combined.

If you're running something else then you, at some point, activated it by opening the app and allowing it and it's service to run.

i use nova prime on both my razer phone 1 and 2, but with mi favorito pocophone f1 i am forced to use the poco launcher. i get battery drain when using nova on the f1. well, poco launcher is not that bad- there is an option to turn off ads contrary to what most non-xiaomi users believe, there is an app drawer and the toggles are in the right place unlike in other chinese oems, and you can hide app icons you don't use (well, it does suck not being able to unintall bloats, but at least it can be hidden). i just hope they can implement a proper dark mode on themes (gallery cannot be themed, it stays with white background) and that there can be folders inside the app drawer (grouping is tedious even if done automatically). looking forward to f2.

And I actually use some, like the theme app, so long before dark modes came to the OS itself I could have dark theme, even in settings menu. I've also used the stock browser on a webpage that just didn't want to work with google chrome, neither on smartphone nor PC, same thing with Internet explorer and Edge, but with the Xiaomi browser I was finally able to register for the new Ford electric SUV based on Mustang.

If the bundled apps are invisible, then why care that they're there? :-)
