Any shovel what cost more than 300 dollar is overpriced. Shovels are more easy to produce than compact. Maybe this is the reason, phone companies just dont have enough knowledge how to make compact phone.

        I don't mind 5.5 inch screens so long price starts and ends at $300 for Android and iPhone!! Any single Dollar beyond that for any kind of spec for 5.5 inch OLED screen will be a over priced one

          I got a X for my switch back to iOS, but I would've preferred something smaller. A 5.4" model somewhere between the 8 and old SE dimensions sounds exactly right for me. Hope this turns out to be true.

It was throttling the cpu to cut down on over heating. And making all iphones runs sweet as a nut. Just UK broadband works super fast all come 6pm. Dial up. Its come bandwidth throttling they call traffic management. I call it a joke.

                      I do miss my old iPhone 7. But very much in taking photos and enjoy using my P20 Pro. But having said if Apple were to make an iPhone with an amazing camera I would get 1 tomoz. Just love the clean feel of ios. So simple to use. And seemless synchronisation between all apple devices. But we will see. Maybe iPhone 11 will be the killer iPhone that brings back huge sales.

The only phone size-wise I'm interested in is Nokia 1, which is a low end smartphone. I can't carry a 6 inch plate in my pocket all day and I'm sure neither can a lot of people.

                            That smaller phone is one reason people switch from Android to iPhone.

                            Many people don't care about biggest screen, fastest gaming, or 4000 mAh battery so they can spend 7 hours on the phone every day -- all they care about is a smaller practical smartphone that fits in the pocket.

                              It's still just a dream, but sometimes dreams come true ^^ There's a gap in market for solid compact phones, but unfortunately we need to wait for big companies to make these phones first before chinese companies copy them.

                                "This means Apple will finally address the needs of the fans who've been clamoring for a smaller premium iPhone" - iPhone fans are not the only ones craving for a compact phone... Especially companies like Vivo, Huawei or Xiaomi think everyone wants those oversized glass back phablets - I personally hate them.

                                I've been Apple hater pretty much ever since I heard about the brand, but... If no Android manufacturers manages to make a decent compact phone, I'm going to consider buying a first Apple device in my life... Won't be happy to switch from Android, but I sure as f*ck don't want to carry some >6" phablet in my pocket, and apparently this is the only size that android manufacters can do these days...

                                  It's going to be the budget iPhone, for people who want to spend max $1000 on a smartphone.

                                    If Apple really make such a small but still modern looking (not like SE) device - when it will be my first iPhone I ever purchased in my life. Would be nice if they keep fingerprint sensor and 3.5 mm jack.

                                      Even mid rangers in Huawei or Vivo or Oppo or OPO started having 6.7 inch QHD AMOLED screens without bezel. We all are satisfied with choices. 5.4 inches, 6.1 inches(resolution?), not impressed. 6.7 inches going to cost a fortune!! We are talking about 2020 hahaha...

                                        We are listening for iPhone SE2 for 3 years and nothing like this happens. The sad reallity is that the number of people interested in small phones is negligible and I am not optimistic for this device. Maybe 6.4 inches is the correct diagonal for this compact iPhone.
                                        And even if they make it, I won't pay 2K USD for it.
