This advertisement is basically a middle finger to its customers who bought THEIR notched phone, of which there were A LOT in past few months/years. Mi 9 and Note 7 were released when, like 3 months ago? And Xiaomi is already saying you're dumb for buying it because it has a notch. Shame on them.

I mean, c'mon. I think they were among the first companies to follow the iPhone X trend. And for no real reason. At least the iPhone did the notch for the FaceID.

Its all about marketing and this irony also seems to be a marketing technique, where people will keep on commenting, creating memes and discussing about Xiaomi only. The way it mocked its own notched phones. :D
Companies just dont miss any opportunity to be in peoples mind everytime.

I have one plus 6 & oppo k1.
Trust me, these phones have best displays with minimal bezels.
Last year's oppo k1 is far ahead than this year's redmi note 7.

Shui8, 18 Jun 2019Pretty much like 'ingenious' Samsung ad, makes fun of notch... moreYes.. i don't like any kind of notch, holes.. asus z6, galaxy a80 implementation was good. But durability issue. Now I think bezels are fine. Pixel 2xl, pixel 3, Nokia 9, xperia 1, note9 & s9 bezels are totally fine. Too many accidental touches happens with new front designs.
