Anonymous, 20 Jun 2019So 64GB is useless for people who pirate their music. Peop... moreLast time i checked, you could donwload mp3 files from youtube too, and it's not "piracy". And makes much more sense than wasting data traffic, battery life and money on subscriptions for streaming services that don't even have all the music you like (Unless you're a teen who only listens to what's "modern").

People for the last 6 years stream!
How do you even buy your music? You don't you steal it. So please.
Stop the nonsense.
Real memory is 59gb.
I have a 128gb iphone 7 plus. Never deleted anything in 2 years, I listen to music for hours every day while I'm driving. Take photos and videos daily. Still have 70GB free.
I never use a microSD in my galaxy s8 either.
Lol premium laptops ship with 256GB storage nowadays. Still people like you don't see why.
The answer is the Cloud.

Not add apps and the necessary spare GBs for video recording or video files (Or other fiels you need to temporary download). That's just laughable.
I have full 128GB card and i don't even use FLAC.

The headphone bit is more of a problem. I use Bluetooth earbuds every night, but the charging is still, after several years, a complete pain. Wired are my preferred method, and having that dedicated jack is great.

In a wosrst case you can carry memory stick which you can attach to phone. Anyway to fill up more than 128GB you would use cables and get data from PC or somewhere.
Same about earphones. Wired earphones are past and you can get pretty decent not expensive wireless headphones what most of the people are doing nowadays.

It's almost as if people don't want to pay 1,000 bucks for a phone without really basic things like headphone jacks and micro SD... Who'd have thought it?

Smartphones are getting more and more expensive each year, so value midrangers are the best option at the moment.

six_tymes, 20 Jun 2019No one is surprised. ALL all too expensive. Even mid ranger... moreAnd not just overpriced, but crippled, inconvenient. Even Android "premium" segment (Lack of 3.5mm jack itself is a 100% deal breaker for me. There's also edge screens, cancerous front cameras, mostly poor battery life (Currently with P30 series being the only exception when it comes to battery life. And that's for Android. For Apple...well i'd probably need a day to mention all the deal-breakers. The crippled OS being the second biggest deal breaker after the lack of 3.5mm jack and the lack of dual sim. Not to mention the abysmal battery life. And the proprietary charging port. There's jist nothing right with the iPhones)). I wouldn't buy a "premium" flagship even if it were cheap. I'd still prefer Zenfone 6 or Mi 9T.

Simple. Many so-called "premium" smartphones lack the essentials (e.g 3.5mm jack, microsd slot) to justify the price$$ ever since (Cr)Apple started the trend of ditching 3.5mm jack in 2016. Yet smartphone manufacturers called this premium!!
