You can't just cap yo... moreInstead of questioning Xiaomi's business strategy, how about telling (for example) Samsung to stop making their customers pay for their heavy marketing by bloating their smartphone prices. While ads with Xiaomi can be opted-out in settings, Samsung's phone pricing due to their extensive marketing isn't.

Get the Redmi Note 7 Pro. It's a better deal in every way: price (approx. $50 lower), features (with micro sd expansion, IR blaster vs. none, none), screen longevity (IPS display vs. Amoled), selfie cam longevity (fixed vs. motorized retractable). The faster processor and the additional ultrawide camera in the Mi 9T will never justify for the absence of a micro sd card slot especially since the phone tops at 48 megapixels and shoots 4K video. 128GB maximum internal storage only without micro sd expansion is stupid. Buy the Redmi Note 7 Pro. The amount you save, you can buy a 400GB Sandisk micro sd card. (Currently below $58 and it's only going to get cheaper).

Kisyok, 21 Jun 2019What are you smoking? The SD835 performs better than the SD... moreAre u drunk? The CPU of SD730 is on par with SD845 (better single core, worse multi core). Check the geekbench 4 score on their web of Redmi K20 vs Mi 8. So, SD835 is slower than SD730.

The inferior of SD730 compare to SD845 is the GPU.

Take note this is just the non-pro version.. so many ppl confused complaining about the price

And it is (Mi 9T) 560 EUR for 6/64 in Turkey where Galaxy S10e is 650 EUR... Than you Xiaomi Turkey, you ruined Xiaomi for us!

Anonymous, 21 Jun 2019In Europe is the highest price. Damn it. Good. EU should introduce a miui tax. You can't just cap your hardware profit to 5%, make money by ads in os, and drive non-china phone companies out of business by appealing to price-extreme third country geeks and neglecting basic liberty regulation

Anonymous, 21 Jun 2019In Europe is the highest price. Damn it. In Bulgaria, the Mi 9T was going for 360 EUR but now the prices skyrocketed and it went up to 410 EUR. I bet that the Mi 9T Pro will be cheaper than that in Malaysia...
The Mi 9 is actually cheaper at 400 EUR wtf.

the ones buying the 9T obviously wouldn't be looking at a more expensive device

Pro version of course will be better, but higher the price.

This normal version easily kills all upper mid range phones out there for the price.

If Xiaomi is launching the Mi 9T (rebranded Redmi K20) only on June 24, then the
K20 Pro will either be not be the Pocophone F2 Pro, or the K20 Pro will be released as Pocophone F2 in the Philippines.
