FedEx refused to send a Huawei phone to the US amidst Huawei ban

22 June 2019
The shipping carrier preferred to not be involved with the US / Huawei issue.

..FedEx is not the only carrier in the world... better alternatives like DHL or UPS

U.S law is so ridiculous! PERIOD

There is no import ban on Huawei phones, but the U.S. is now so dumb and drunk that the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing, and neither of them know what the head is thinking.

Oh well, one reason to choose DHL in favor of FedEx.

FedEx are rubbish anyway, always use UPS or Royal Mail.

LOL this US way of thinking and acting, like little kid's... Amazing.
But my firm now say goodbye too FedEx and hello to other NON US transport firms.

Actually im chocked over this way of thinking.

Does US have a plan to be all alone, a county with walls around the whole country.

All these US companies are just so cowardly, if you do any research on the subject you see that this is clearly a misguided attempt from the trump "administration" to stop a copetitors growth in the market.
They've shown that this "free market" they keep talking about is all bs, they only like it that way when they're the ones bringing in all the cash.
But if someone else is beating them, then its suddenly a serious "security problem".
Trump clearly wants to use Huawei as leverage in the upcoming trade talks and i hope it backfires on him, these kinds of tactics are just cowardly and disgusting.

Simple solution dont US parcel companies. If its in uk use royal mail.

This is just stupid, because delivering a package that has a product from a company banned by the government =/= having a business with them. FedEx is not having a trade with Huawei but is serving for their CUSTOMERS by delivering a package. Or, probably it's their payback to Huawei for disclosing the fact that FedEx was trying to divert Huawei's packages to US for no clear reason.

They dig their own coffin, their business in china I don’t know if it have a future

                              Crazy!

"Understandably so, as the whole ban has been a confusing mess"
Don't try to make excuses for FedEx! They have lots of lawyers who could have sorted this out.

So it wasn't "confusing when" FedEx diverted packages to the US?

It would be silly for China to continue doing businesses with FedEx.

Nothing related to the ban or anything, but I'm not buying Huawei phones anymore. I have the Mate 10 Pro, it's a great phone but the updates are killing it. The camera, performance, battery significantly got worse over time. It never happened to any of my past phones from other brands and some software-related softwares are occuring but rarely. I feel like Huawei does this to make their newer line ups look as an upgrade or worth to get. So if it's that, then no more for me. I feel like they're forcing me to buy a new one from them, which is not happening.
