The question is how much software & support is this VR set receiving and is the base large enough to attract the masses attention?

          Anonymous, 26 Jun 2019where does it say priceLol, LCD. Thanks but no thanks. Everybody has made the jump to amoled, yet VR that (actually needs amoleds' benefits the most, like low retention, passive lighting) are switching back.

          VR can only work it it remains in the forefront of tech development. This one severely lags behind. Samsung would already do 4k amoled in 2015 , yet those VR companies never pushed to get it (despite the fact that the screen door effect and high retention being their number one and two problems as far as visuals go. This new headset solves none of the two, if anything exasperates of the two: sideways steps, probably even back. Didn't expect anything better from HTC. I was actually surprise from the original vive, they *had to* f*ck up and they are close finally...
