Windows Phone Mango doesn't support more than 8MP in image resolution. So a 12MP or 16Mp Nokia WP phone is not gonna happen until Apollo.

I guess you gsmarena had miss-read that tweet....clearly Damian was referring to No Lumia900 model with 12MP camera module...he didn't mean it for lumia910 and after all he is Nokia employee so why he would disclose any info on products which does not exist currently!

Because people love big blurry pictures which real resolution is about 40% of the megapixels in the specs list.

Nokia will launch the N8 successor running Nokia Carla. I think. Haha
The invitation from Nokia doesn't include any tiles in it. Instead, Nokia chose to show an asian girl (biggest market of Symbian) at night with nice lighting *hint* flash..matched with the light effects that could be done with cameras.

I have a feeling that Nokia's mwc show will be camera centric and the phone to be announced will have very capable night imaging features as seen on the invitation.

Question: why would anyone need a 12 MP camera with the "lens" the size of a green pea? What's the point? Why is this even a spec parameter worth comparing or talking about?
