The Galaxy S10+, Hauwei P30 Pro and Huawei Mate 20 Pro are overall better phones than the X1.
The X1 looks nice though, but that’s about it.

Samsung does not have 10 bit oled. Nor mobile screens above 90Hz.
Things LG can provide.
LG Display has more advanced tech than Sammy Display.
In the end it is up to the user to extract the most out of the product.
Apple has better calibration than Samsung, using Samsung screen ...

70% of what is available on Netflix/Amazon Prime is 21:9.
Sony Pictures use 21:9.
That is why the phone records 21:9.
If you like to watch video full screen notch will cut the video.
Hole will be there.
Did you know because of dual edge and hole the usable surface area of s10+ is 5cm2 smaller than a flat/no hole screen of same size and ratio?
Get a pen and paper, draw a 5cm2 rectangle to see how much space is wasted.

Also 21:9 will be on Samsung phone maybe in 2020, so.. Sony is better, with original design, not copy cat like Samsung. A series looks like any other Chinese (Huawei, Xiaomi, Oppo, Honor, vivo..) Phone, just plastic instead of glass..

So, Sony wins in design.

You're jealous. And btw, most TV manufacturers use Sony's TRIMASTER monitors to check and correct colors as it's the most color accurate display. People like you think only one thing. Sales. More sales doesn't mean it's better.

Oneplus 7 pro proved that you can have a water resistant phone with pop up camera
Check zenfone 6 for rotating camera. There us no way that water and dust can enter inside the phone

Don't matter who supply the xperia 1 secreen, its sony great calibration and x1 processing engine make this secreen amazing..

At that time Alpha department dont interfere with Xperia camera on all previous phone before. 12mp between 1/2.0"- 3.0" sensor & 1.4-2.0 micron pixel size is the sweet spot for more balancing image quality between resolution, details & low light photography.

I personally think the Xperia 1 has the best display for an exceptional & uncompromised viewing experience. The OnePlus 7 Pro's display next. Better than S10 series.
