I highly doubt any user on any of these sites know how to properly design the pcb and shell of a smartphone. Lol get over yourself

You also need to design the arrangement of the internal component to make the chin smaller. Design where to put the display ribbon, charging port, speaker and etc.

They should bring back the U-600 wallpaper. That was amazing. Everytime you travel, the picture in the back were an animated foto of a building or monument of the city where you have been.
I remember that every time I've traveled to Barcelona, Berlin, with different wallpapers...
I miss that...

Visual designer must collaborate with engineer team to make a mass produceable product.
Some designer out there may have better design, but some of them may only work as unusable dummy.

So this contest is only for designing accessories or wallpapers? What about designing a phone? Users know more about designing phones than the pretentious designers currently working there.
I bet users know how to make the chin as small as the razor thin side and top.
