Using one of those increases the thickness a few mm and make it easier to grip.

8.9 mm. good idea. being super thin creates problems for people with big hands. I have tried to grasp an S2 at a store. I had trouble holding. Almost dropped it.my 11 mm phone is a bit too big.well. not that big.

                    quit whining about the battery,

IF this is a S4 chip then 28nm @ 1.5 GHz means low low power consumption, long battery life & one amazing metal bodied, HD phone.

                    if not

considering the notoriousness of htc my intellect says that this is going have a pathetic 1700 mah(or less ) battery which wouldnt even last for half day . I have an unfortunate friend who charges his desire thrice a day

Apart from it launching with a newer OS, going up against the Xperia S, this looks second best. Let's hope Sony can get the latest Android OS on their Xperia S soon after it's released...

The HTC Ville's front facing camera copies the position of the front facing camera on the iPhone.
