This phone looks good, and the punch hole gives it a nice touch. Why going for something more complicated like Pop up camera or under display, which will collide with other features like IP rating or battery size, when that little punch hole does the thing, is cheaper and doesn't restrict you from adding other things?

Galaxy S10 users probably wont have a reason to upgrade, heck Galaxy 9 users have no reason to upgrade either, but if you are upgrading a flagship phone every freaking year you are a fool. so its on you.

Still deciding whether I should get this or the Note 10

An all screen phone will be the last frontier of innovation, and it doesn’t even matter in terms of user experience.

Oflife, 02 Jul 2019By rushing the Note 10 out like this, rather than use a pop... moreHow is Samsung rushing the Note10. All the note products are released around this time. If you are talking about the in screen camera, it will take around 1- 2 years to get perfected. They will not go for the pop up camera as it will lose water resistance.

Heyyy... if camera is drawn by S-pen does this mean that sensor is under the display and can be exposed to take pictures when pixels are shut off. soo having full screen and camera exposed when you need it. I'm having a really big hope on Note 10 i have that feel.

It's going to be a good device. One of the best all around... But at this point it's all so uninspiring and incremental. And even taking away things. I mean it is all rumors so hopefully wrong... But no headphone jack, bigger variant without bigger battery, and possibly still a 12mp camera....
Not to mention if it doesn't debut with an example chip on Samsung's 7nm Euv process they really missed a window and held things back. Even if the CPU and GPU are the same that would make quite a difference. But Mali has the new g77 GPU which would be perfect for the note 10. And supposedly can be implemented in time for release....

But unfortunately it's questionable whether they will even do the 7nm let alone new GPU. Like they might save that all for the s11 >:(.

Same old camera. Same old hole punch. Same SoC. No headphone jack. Barely increase battery. Same features.
                                  Huge price tag.... Yay....

And they take the headphone jack away just before they release phones with graphene batteries, better cameras, and all the new better SoC's.

By rushing the Note 10 out like this, rather than use a pop up or in screen camera, they have just lost a sale. I will never buy a phone with a notch, even a small one. I tried an iPhone XS and it made watching videos and previewing photos a joke.
Both Apple and others have shown technical impatience and forced developers to introduce temporary changes to their apps to accommodate notches, rather than retain full screen designs until introducing under screen or pop up cameras.
And Samsung, being I like to draw on my Note 9 screen, in full screen mode, I do not want to have a bloody hole in the top of my canvas!
