Anonymous, 03 Jul 2019Easier? NoYes, iPhones are easier to have battery and screen repairs if you watch most repair videos since the first thing that comes off is the display panel itself. On the other hand, many brands like Samsung require you to dig through the back of the phone and remove most of the parts inside before you can replace the screen and/or battery.

Your phone might be harder to hack but we never know what Apple does with the information and if they would allow anyone like the USA government to access the information. All we can do is hope.

The only thing good about iPhones is they are easier to repair in terms of battery and screen replacement compared to other phones. Otherwise, you can get the same if not better utility and features from a phone that's around half the price.

A few screws, lift a ribbon cable or three, even the adhesive strips are designed for easy removal/replacement.

There is no argument that apple is the best when it comes to updates and security.but the way thay treat their customers and the pricing for a repair is totall garbage. Thay are releasing new features like dark mode, new interface for Ipads for example only when the market share starts to drop. And making the products hard to repair on purpose is just unacceptable. There is simply to much issues when it comes to freedom of using their products. Even if you buy apple product you don't own it 100%

It’s great to know that ones iPhone and iPad have security we’ll prioritized and that they will NEVER have to wait for Security updates and patches due to Carrier and OEM approvals, when my iPad gets a security update my iPhone gets the same thing on the same day at the same time, unless it’s an absolutely specialized update for one device.
