if your phone handles your OS and other features very smoothly then why do you need a dual core or quad core processor for your device?
you can see N8 with 680 MHz processor and 256MB ram going great with symbian belle. this is what i call OS optimization, use as less resources as possible.
Save energy, save the world.

Other organisations are talking about quad cord, Nokia hasn't produced a dual core yet. Price of nokia are very high. Symbian is still not at par with Android. Multy color back covers look like substandard. I wonder how Microsoft has allowed Nokia to produce Lumia 710.

I am so so looking forward to the Lumia 900 - I hope they announce the international version.I also hope they have refined the kinks in the Lumia 800, which I believe they have already done with things such as the flimsy cover for the micro USB port and the wobbly buttons.

Nokia has failed as a mobile phone maker largely due to the fact that it refused to listen to its customers. They refused to make the necessary changes to bring Symbian in line with Android and IOS until it was far too late. Windows phone isn't generating the kind of interest that Android has and seems to be a speculative effort at a smartphone OS. I don't think that WP will develop quickly enough to rescue Nokia from the flames. Even Symbian is dying faster than anticipated. After all, who wants to buy a dead OS?

I am a Nokia fan from 1998( nokia 282)and they are loosing grounds in the cellphone market due complacency and innovation.
Nokia N9, a breath of fresh air in the market but they diffused the opportunity by outlining that they will not continue with te Meego platform. Haven't had the opportunity to use WPos but taking up this OS is going to take at least 3yrs to see themselves making any form of impact to the smartphone marketshare.
Nokia will make it back on top, a successor to the N8(camera phone)as a mid level phone and high end phone with upgradable memory and long lasting battery(like E71)along with innovation will make a firm foundation in taking back dominace in the cellphone market.

I hope they will announce the successor of N8, with 16 MP of camera(or at least 14) with 4 x optical zoom, as they promised that for this year they will have a phone with such a zoom. I also hope that the screen will be WVGA, and the internal storage at least 32 GB, and it will be expandable.
By the way I am waiting for WP8, which could look different and MUCH cooler than the current WP7 OS.
