Weekly poll: Xiaomi Mi CC9 and CC9e, are they worth your money?

The CC-series is camera-focused with advantages over the Redmi and Redmi Note phones, but not as capable as the Mi 9 or Redmi K20 phones.

Both of these phones are great, but I wish the CC9e had a 1080p screen. I haven't used a 720p phone since 2012 and I really don't know what to expect anymore. Resolution doesn't appear to be a huge problem for the iPhone XR so I imagine it won't be here either. I won't know for sure until I get it in my hands.

      There is only Redmi Note 7 Pro available... Not Redmi 7 Pro... Gsmarena you did mistake

        Anonymous, 08 Jul 2019just dont tell that you will buy Huawei instead :DIf they have the biggest phone (7,2 inch +)i will, same with all other brand, just not Apple.
        Its my first priority... A big display... I had the mi max 3 to before my mate 20X, ofc i prefer best specs right after the big display.
        But those CC9 and CC9e, dont have a big display and specs naaaa, not good enough for me.

            Its too early to say anything, if they get excellent audio quality (Apple/ Samsung S10 level) and good loudspeakers with good cameras, then I'm sold on this too.

            Even till today, I'm not able to find the all round phone to replace my $100 Redmi 2 Prime, such a shame.

              Both are a disappointment. Glassy fancy CC9 with notch. Crippled CC9e with 720p and SD 665.
              Fake flagman Mi 9 without OIS is a disappointment too. And 60Hz second generation Black Shark is just pathetic.

                Waiting for Xiaomi Mi A3 with android one and decent power. Also may buy Xiaomi Mi Band.

                  really i don't see this phone's place as long as they released the k20!!i mean on aliexpress, i just looked and the mi9t is 10 usd CHEAPER!!it would have been the better buy even it was 40 usd more expensive.....

It's their wish whether to continue or discontinue a series. Why criticizing them based on their product mix?

                            If we talk about it being the A3, then yes. As an android One model, absolutely.

                              Would be nice if the cc9e would be something 5.7 inch screen with same amount of battery but body size smaller then Mi 9 SE or even smaller then Samsung Galaxy A40.

                              Would be perfect phone for my mom. But well it's still to large for her. She still have LG Leon that is 130mm tall with 4.5 inch screen. Already show sings of dying out.

                                Pretty good phones for the price but I rather pay a tiny bit more and get K20

                                        Plus I'm so mad they cancelled the Max series for this nonsense "allegedly" to not confuse their product line

                                        Which is laughable the cc series is almost exactly the same as the mi 9 se
