Regardless of the specs, the price will make or break this tablet. It could go two ways.
A low-cost budget tablet that would compete toe to toe w/ Amazon's Kindle Fire range (Lower price)
Or a low-end tablet that costs too much money for its outdated design, screen, and overall specs. (Higher price)

Samsung why are you doing this? I don't understand why the specs have to be so low. At least should have made the screen fHD assuming that most people will be using it for reading and media consumption.

Still owning Galaxy Tab S8.4 and I haven't seen better 8inch from Samsung since then! Is tablet market slowly dying? This one looks like a freebie added to more expensive phone/laptop...
