Every mobile game will throttle at some point. Mobile phones are nowhere near desktops for gaming performance.
Android store has more apps obviously. There are more free apps in apps tore than paid apps. Me and you aren't software developers so it doesn't affect us if an app costs 100 to stay in the app store. And developers who pay 100 will still make profit in the year. There are so many clone apps fake apps on android playstore and filled with malware.
There was an article last week about playstore containing fake apps and malware. I prefer quality or quantity.

Clash of lords 2 requires at least 3-4GB ram to run smoothly othervise its lagging strategy game.

Android tablets charge the battery in like one hour where one cant play a game from a charging Ipad.
Ipads like every apple chips are famous for throttling so running in circless yes but they doing circless even around their own.
Optimised software yes but at big charge of companies which adds apps to IOS store.
Android store offers more than 3 billions of apps.
IOS have maybe and only maybe 1/3 of that and every single app needs to pay 100 bucks per year to IOS to be there.
Most android apps are completely free where IOS apps cost from 1 dollar most of them.
As long as apple chips will be famous for throttling they cant and will never outbeat I7 CPUs like Ryzen and many else. For example AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1950X YD195XA8AEWOF
Another example: INTEL Core i7-7820X X-series Skylake (11M Cache, up to 4.30 GHz) BX80673I77820X

Gaming is far superior on iPads compared to even the gaming phones being produced by Android now. Man apple GPU and CPU are throttling not much but is significant and they weak mAh batteries cant handle long gaming seasions.
Your statement is wrong. Playing 2-3 hours a game and then another 3-4 hours waiting to charge the phone is big no.
IOS store with just 1/3 apps of android store is big no.
Had apple once but no more and never.
Even doogee X90L phone under 100 bucks have 3GB ram same as 1000 euros apple phone.

Having 1000 euros phone for gaming is big no if midranger for 90 bucks like this nokia can run smoothly any game.
But feel free to say your opinion i wont bother.

Man I love Apple, they always be first to make innovation on their product:
- First phone that you can't hold it normally (iPhone 4)
- First foldable phone (iPhone 6)
- First foldable iPad Pro (2018 iPad Pro)
- First phone without headphone jack (iPhone 7)
- First phone that can't be charged (iPhone XS)
Can't wait for Apple's next future bizzare innovation

It also cost way less than the iPhone. I recall iFan were defending Apple with 1GB of ram is enough for iPhones back in the days.

I can see many people are arguing which os is better. Ios is faster because it is just barebones software? implement the same android features in ios and see what happens.
Android on tablets is blown up version and there are to much gimmicks ? How ios on ipad is diferent than on the iphone? It's just dumb to make the interface with only 5 icon rows on 9.7 inch display. How one of the richest tech companies needs almost 10 years to figure out that the same interface on iphone just dosent work well on ipad? Because thay are releasing new features when the hype about their products starts to drop. It is little strange to see the apple users getting so exited when apple presented the dark mode and widgets for ipad os, same features that android users are enjoying for years.ios is just like a car with only a driver seat, pedals and engine. It is light and goes fast but there is nothing more, no climate controls, no center console, no nothing. And dont forget the multiple finger gestures witch are complete mess. Android is not perfect but ios neither. speed and updates are not the only important things when comes to freedom of using a product.

Memory management is better on ios and 3 gb ram runs much better than 3gb ram on android.
