Each company copy each other only motorola is only true and genuine prototype or original.

My only problem with this is the fact that you can't optical zoom 2-4x, only 5x. It would be cool to do less zoom for some scenarios

Just look at those 4K60 footage compared to 4K30.
Without EIS, video is too shaky.

OIS is useful for photos with long shutter shots and handshakes but not so much for video shot. The OIS gives so much wobble or jello effect that even warp stabilization on Adobe Premiere doesn't help so much at all removing it. I hope they give us an option to turn OIS off manually, gyro based EIS is much better for videos.

My $100 Sony compact camera uses OIS while my $100 Canon compact camera uses EIS. According to my research a year ago, EIS acts faster because it's electronic but the resulting photo is cropped by 5%, while the OIS acts slower because of its physical component.

OIS should be standard for flagships, high end above 400 bucks should have it, and beloow that mainstream should be EIS, of course bellow 250 dont get both is usual...
Xiaomi prove that EIS is good enough but OIS is still better.

You can periscope or whatever all day long Xiaomi. Just remember to put some real OIS inside.
