HTC 19e This device is the actually the best in 2019 considering the price £420 and the specs.
compare to other phone of £840 like the Samsung and apple of same year.

HTC has made my last five smartphones. Each of them delivered on all the operating specs and then some. I've always been eager to procure their latest flagship. So, I'm hoping for something amazing after the Exodus.

Now, imagine if they sold one unlocked for the US market...
For $480, it's better than almost any new phone available here in the same price range.
Spec-wise it is a viable replacement for my V20(HTC has twice the SSD, 50% more RAM, faster CPU)

Sad to see HTC struggleing. Over a decade ago I was a big fan of the company (still have a fully functional P3600 Trinity and a P3700 Diamond). At that time they were the No1 smartphone manufacturer, now they fight to be alive. Long live XDA.

HTC always done best by not conforming to market expectations, it needs to be more aware of its true costumer base, maybe set up an online survey with no open online review to pull in its True customer catch base info desires!

HTC is better than vivo, huawei, oppo, and many others,...
              💕

There is a gap in 5-5.5 inch flagship/upper mid rangers. HTC should try to catch that segment. A 5.5 incher with OLED display having thin bezel, SD710/845, 3.5mm jack and 4000Mah battery should do fine. No need to play with useless tech like squeeze or whatever. Just keep the price a little modest and it would sell like hot cake.If it becomes a mm or two thicker it would still work fine. Sometimes i feel like why do the design board at htc doesn't get what we consumers get? Are they so dumb or they simply don't care?

Wishing HTC all the best, however they have to change their conservative (2-year old) approach to design, with huge (comparing to others) top and bottom bezels and bigger than others phone sizes. HTC 10 like build quality + latest design trends should equal success for HTC. But, quality cannot protect their (still?) good name if the design doesn't follow the trends. Once again good luck, I will wait for real change in the next gen of their phones. I'm sticking to my Samsung Galaxy phone for the next couple of months. Your move HTC.

The only thing that matters is profit.

Reknilador, 08 Jul 2019Just drop the prices HTC and u'll be back on top in no time... moreJust like Samsung, LG, Sony and Motorola , the HTC phones drop price after while.
                          People still barely buy.
It means people has lost interest in them.

U19e is less than $500. Similar price of Pixel 3a XL.
It has SD7xx series, 6/128Gb, HDR oled screen, iris ID, dual cam, slot sd card and IP68.
Much better than the midranges from Google, LG, Motorola, Sony and Samsung in this price range.

Just drop the prices HTC and u'll be back on top in no time . I still respect them and would love to see them bounce back.

The deal was to buy part of the mobile division. Permission to access few patents, Google got part of the employees too.
Pixel 3 duo was not even done at their factories, but by Foxconn.
