VERTU made a big commotion when it was first announced a few years back. Most people said it just a fad, and it won't last and the company will soon go bankrupt. For managing to hang around so long means that VERTU is meeting a niche market demands and making enough, that alone is enough to justified this phone existence.

            mX9q... you spack-tard

The N95 has triple the functions of one of these, and it looks nicer too, this just looks gaudy and made for those with more money than sense, good luck with your £3000 of phone (£50 of Nokia insides, £2950 of case)

And I don't really care for the Nokias, I'm a Sony man myself, my old K800 would destroy that Vertu in terms of functionality

Well as you know from owning one it's not your network that gives you that service it's vertu. There are many compnays that offer the same service nokia have just added a speed dial to it. So you can use your Vertu on ATT AND that level of service. But you know that as you own... Sorry lol but this really is too much lol going on to soem bloody website to show off lol lol sorry can;t help it your sad and pathic. Real class like this phone is subtle and doesn;t feel the need to tell everyone its better it just is.

I have this phone for my wife, for those of you who complain about the money vs. technology pay off, this phone is not for you. The money is not about the phone but for the service that goes with the phone and the exclusivity that comes with it.
If my wife's car ever breaks down or she is lost in Paris or India or needs a new dress etc. all she has to do is push a button and the person on the other hand takes care of it, you do not get that type of service by using ATT or T-Mobile or Orange and O2, this is the primary factor between this "overpriced" phone.

The reason it looks like a 6020 is because Vertu is owned by Nokia. Just like cars, for example some Audi models look like Volkswagen models or Lexus models look like Toyota models or Infiniti models look like Nissan models (you get my drift) is because they are owned by a parent company and they rebadge their economy models to luxury counterparts.

there's something special about vertue. it's not just a phone. you won't find any special technolgy in it. the phone just go out technology. there's no phone which will allow you to enter a jet-set club or give you full lounge club access plus special treatment all over the world besides this phone. if you bring a nokia at the jet-set club, you're at no level with them. vertue is standar phone for them, a minimal requirement. rich poeple don't need technology you seek; if they need something, they call phone maker and make a customized one.
off course you need to be very carefull if you bring this phone. but by bringing this phone, it mean you already untouchable. and you don't need to scare about losing it. if you losing it, just call the vertue and they will track down where your phone is at the precise moment.
so don't underestimate this phone. it goes beyond technology. it's about prestige and power to combine with.

If I have to use this phone, I rather buy a toy phone instead! what so special about this phone that make it so expensive? I recycling my phone every year, if I have this phone how I am going send it to the recycle?

I knew that this phone costs about $1x,xxx(Hong Kong Dollar), $ 1,xxx(USD), around £7xx(GBP). So this phone costs like a ASTRONOMICAL figures ! ! !
But I think this phone's designs is good, but people needs to be very careful for carrying this phone around, in case of stealing and lossing !
