Especially when it comes to education and sex education, conservatism has been used to essentially neuter children, and the right-wing conservatism America is suffocating under (born from specific religious and middle-class ideals, among other things, way outmoded even in the 20th C) came in part from a very Victorian conservatism where children were cherubs, precious little creatures, and simultaneously pitiful creatures made to work in the factory (when it was a lower class child, of course). I'm sorry, but you lack a basic understanding of the ideological horrors of both left- and right-wing America, which I can only assume is your own country. You're not making anyone respect the right even a little more: I assume the opposite for most here.
