And me using the 3 years old YouTube app on fire TV stick over the last 3 years now and it still works perfectly fine. Just didn't update it, that easy.

if amazon's intention of fire tv is influencing customer to consume Amazon content, i don't understand why they didn't support Chromecast. i doubt they make good business from selling fire tv dongle. Google should also allow third parties to produce Chromecast dongles

Casting from a laptop is not working but older my LG web os app still works like a charm

Can they add the Youtube to the Kindle Fire's now too?? Or at least update the weird app icon??
