Some fund will invest in JDI to make the crappy oled screens and after that the chinese will come to the market with under LCD fingerprind tehnology and bring back the power of LCD panels, much cheaper and higher quality,
All the manufacturer turned to oled nowadays becauae of the under display finherprind scanner trend, and for now only the oled can imcorporate that. But rumors are that the chinese managed to find a way for the fingerprint scanner to work under the LCD panel. JDI was reportedly working on that solution for se time but probably left it aside and concentrate to the oled production.
That will be a classic demise of a big company that didn't know how to react on the market chamges and how and in what to invest.

Hope they produce smaller 5.7 and 6.0 inch displays which is more pocket friendly than the huge pocket unfriendly, giant hands displays of late.

someone mentioned earlier apple doesn't buy display from japan and that who japan got the best displays, sorry man you can eat it all now, at least be good at eating it :D

Well I guess for that to mean something Apple would have to be willing to put LCD on all their flagships and then charge less money, which they wont.

How exactly does this help the company long term? What are they doing in order to make sure this doesn't happen again? They have been selling to Apple for years. How did they collapse just because they lost Apple. Please Explain this and more.
