great! this two phones have almost as exact specs as i wanted them to be. am happy but may be the pro will have indisplay fingerprint while the 9x have it at back. i have samsung galaxy a70 and the indisplay fingerprint is not fast at all. you have to press it for a second some times two times. i personally don't think is important to do indisplay fingerprint in the midrange or budget phones. they are too slow. they don't give it the quality the flaghips have. but ireally want to use this new chip kirin 810 that has more performance than any other midrange chip ever introduced. i feel so very happy. if the price is good honor 9x and 9x pro can make good record sale for huawei.

This is a very intriguing phone. I would love to see how it stacks up versus the new Xiaomi Mi A3 being released tomorrow. EMUI is a custom rom that I am comfortable with. If this is priced competitively I may just have to flip a coin between this and Xiaomi's new midranger.

I wonder if the screen will be amoled and have and in screen fingerprint. Also when it comes out I want to trade my honor 8x for this.

Dude, 16 Jul 2019Hoping for IPS and like the 8X a low price!The lack of a fingerprint sensor on the back makes me think that the screen will be AMOLED, to be able to include it under the screen, although a new fingerprint sensor for LCD screens will not be ready before the end of this year , the price I use if it is going to meet your expectations

8GB plus 256GB and running in Kirin 810 is far from entry level. If Huawei lowers down the price tho to entry level then this is one hell of a budget phone.
