Baykko, 22 Jul 2019Because those devices are cameras and nothing more. On the other... moreYes correct but those pretty good photos are good only on a small screen.
Print even a P30 pro photo on a poster size and you wont like it because it will be blurry.
Or review your photos on a cinema size screen and you also wont like them.
Even a phone for 1000 bucks have only good enough camera for just a 6 inch screen.
Anything bigger will looks like drag.

CptPower, 20 Jul 2019And yet even a Sony, Canon, Nikon or Fujifilm camera for just 15... moreBecause those devices are cameras and nothing more. On the other hand cellphones are personal computers capable of handling all kinds of tasks but they are still meant to be carried in your pocket. they are jacks of all trades but masters of none. your cellphone will never beat a gaming PC yet they can be used for gaming, nor they will beat a pro camera but they can still take good pictures, they cannot beat a personal assistant but they can handle your whole agenda for you and remind you of events, and so on.

And yet even a Sony, Canon, Nikon or Fujifilm camera for just 150 bucks outpreforms any cellphone ever made even P30 pro the best camera phone of 2019.

Kornik, 18 Jul 2019Nubia Z18 camera is way better than Galaxy S10, but in Z20 i can... moreBetter than the S10? In what comparison?

Ball peen textured sky, radial blur, lack of fine detail, and edge tracing artifacts so bad that the levels clip. Yep, it's a cellphone camera.

Nubia Z18 camera is way better than Galaxy S10, but in Z20 i can't see this :( Sorry, for me this photos are overprocessed.

Pretty OK as long as you don't pixel peep. You shouldn't. :-)

ALL highend and even midrange devices can take great photos in outdoor/daylight scenes LOL.
Take this in indoor/lowlgiht setting and see how horrible the quality is.

What type of images those are? Like paintings to me

"...he shot in Chile" I am pretty sure he didnt. I am pretty sure those shots were being taken by some nature pro photographer. It is always the same story, someone who worked for national geographic for twenty years makes some pictures in the nature, to make people believe that they are going to make similar pictures with the phone. When in fact the actual photographer have to make so many compromises and only publish 10 out of thousands pictures (even maybe with some post processing). From those pictures you can clearly see that the person taking them is no amateur and understands composition and light very well, i doubt that those are being taken by some "co-founder dude".

Oversharpening hurts my eyes. If those images are coming straight out of the camera then I gotta say that it must have some horrible cameras.

HannStar, 18 Jul 2019i didnt see the raw but i bet this samples is from a Canon 250D.Nobody would buy a Canon DSLR if the image quality was this bad, duh.

What camera did they use? Because China is always cheating, right.

Go to exotic locations, shoot with a Micromax :( phone, still u get good pics.
Challenge is to produce good pics in real life localities.

i have the z9 n z17
im planning to buy z17s n z20 (if it still has the truly bezeless glass)

No night shots?

So sad that ZTE's Nubia brand is practically dead outside Asia, thanks to Trump almost destroying ZTE,..

HannStar, 18 Jul 2019i didnt see the raw but i bet this samples is from a Canon 250D.The Canon would be MUCH sharper than this, so highly unlikely.
