Any other competitor is far in front of them and they cant even catch.
Same ram by Xiaomi will cost maybe 20 bucks where Samsung will add 200 to phone price.

People are jumping on attacking Samsung about lag on galaxy phones and stuff. A lot of peole do not have multiple phones and so are not busy comparing split secend speeds.
Also, Samsung's biggest business is chip making. This means that what they are building is not only for their phones but for the tech industry at large, even those so called very fast phones with the bare minimum software will be running chips manufactured and fabricated by Samsung mostly. So other than Exynos SoCs other stuff is not only for their devices.

LG is the one who customize strongly and and hardly the android but their phones actually work better than ever. But back to Samsung, you don't like specs? Specs is what makes the phones better and attractive for the consumers in general, and there for their phones have much specs and better specs than other brands doesn't come nothing bad to the world, is competition, you don't like because is expensive, but, specs and quality have a price as the name of the Samsung brand.
