AnonD-39775, 14 Feb 2012oohh!!!it means you are just near a gsm antenna, otherwise ... morei work as a tech support from one of the major mobile providers in australia. can't say what company due to privacy reasons. usually bad reception is not due to faulty handset. it's gonna be under network coverage. if you put a dumbphone and a smartphone together on a same area w/ low/weak coverage, regardless if your smartphone is running a tegra or a snapdragon chipset, reception would still be the same on both phones. this is how we troubleshoot.

      Account> Network System > Coverage/network/Towers/ Handset/ customers

note that we check the handset after the first 3.

AnonD-39775, 14 Feb 2012huawei= over priced crappy brand make with the cheapest com... moreactually, your correct on the word "cheap"

        But for quality...your quite wrong

a typical view for "made in china" products is cheap and low end.

Those 2 words are applicable to small chinese companies.

huawei is big and recognized by Big mobile providers around the world like AT&T, Sprint, OPTUS and such.

That alone should make you think twice.

if your still having doubts....you might be surprised that your samsung or iphone or whatever HIGH END smartphone your holding right now is manufactured in china(Shenzhen and Chengdu, China)

They're not substandard. What they are is DIRT cheap.
You get what you paid for.
Have two Huawei Ideos's since a long time now. They look absurd but other than that, they've survived through thick and thin for me.

And be informed, the likes of the ideos and your crappy Vision were out of the question when I made my point. If GSM Arena themselves and Engadget, some of the hardened mobile devices geeks I know have already been mesmerized by the Honor and Ascend P1, then the next iteration of the Ascend will be unfathomably mind-blowing.Put a sensation with its dying signals and an Ascend in front of me, and I will not pick the HTC.Put the Lumia 800 and the Honor in front of me, and I will assume I didn't notice the Nokia.WORD!

i had a huawei u8850 vision. i strongly recommend to NOT BUY EVER THIS CRAP BRAND:infernal bad signal, infernal bad speaker, infernal bad heaphones output,INFERNAL BAD CAMERA. NEVER EVER BUY THIS BRAND.it is many miles UNDER htc wich is the cheapeast brand wich is still acceptable. at 2nd hand practically huawei can't be reselled,it becomes yours for life. they might release 8 cores with 30 mp camera and 4k video recorder with 10 tb memory. their performance is only write on paper, the real experience with this brand is infernal bad. i will never step in their trap and please listen to my advice

Looks like Huawei is gonna be kicking a$$ sooner than later. And the likes of Nokia with their year-old tech will be on the receiving end.Price-wise,HTC will have a few kicks on it's expensive butt.Huawei just need aggressive marketing and could turn the highly erratic (ask Nokia and RIM)tech world around.
