Anonymous, 20 Jul 2019I honestly prefer samsung UI to stock android. People may s... morePersonally, I like the features they added to One UI, But I'm not big on the aesthetics. I really would like would be to have the option to change the visual style of the interface, or at least the fonts and iconography, back to the look of Samsung Experience.

Zion45, 22 Jul 2019I discovered most people here hating on Samsung ain't even ... moreExactly LOL.
The digital wellbeing that allows you to set specific time limit for apps is already in my super budget phone A30 with One UI 1.1 LOL. So its not coming with One UI 2.0 because it's already there.
And heads down, samsung has the best UI. I chose Samsung over Huawei and Xiaomi despite them having a better value for performance or camera at similar prices is because I dont wanna stick with their crap UI

Vic, 20 Jul 2019Another example of poor UI implementation is animation in S... moreIt's smooth.. I'm using samsung. Are you superhuman that can see 0.000001 ms delay and stutter?
Huawei is a little bit faster. But samsung is the most stable, feature rich and easiest to use.. I rarely found any complaints or error...

Another example of poor UI implementation is animation in S10e when unlocking device with fingerprint reader. Animation, sound and unlocking itself - all are unsynchronized thus looking heavy with poor and cheapish looking animation and sound. Some may say - it's a minor issue, but all together these small issues clearly differentiate poor interface from a good one. In so called "one handed" interface quite a lot of most frequently used buttons are still on far left side thus not easy to reach. Sound adjustment slider for some uknown reason is in the upper middle part of interface instead of being next to sound buttons - the way this UI element is implemented in Android. There are tons of examples of inconvenience, inconsistency and poor implemenation of UI elements in Samsung One UI. As well as some stutters, non-smooth and inconsistent animation. Even after so many years Samsung can't make a smooth and pleasing UI. I would say that among all Android manufacturers Samsung UI is the worst in terms of smoothness and visually pleasing animation. Why Huawei was able to create a smooth working interface but Samsung after so many years is still unable to do it (in spite of consistently working on improving of UI)?

Anonymous, 20 Jul 2019I hate the current One UI way of how the brightness slider ... moreOne UI has option to bring the brightness slider above the notification panel to those who prefer to control it in the first swipe itself. Also the time above is shown, so that the toggles are at the bottom and can be turned on/off with ONE hand itself.

They really need to improve micro stutters and make animation more smooth. Say when opening menu tray, going deep into messages etc etc. In some places anymation is smooth, in others - stuttering and in some places looks like no animation at all. I'm just wondering if Samsung employees (including high managament) are using smartphones they design and manufacture. To learn how smooth Android interface sholud be, they can look at Huawei P30 and other flagship models. Samsung software has always been stuttering and spoiling impression from overall good hardware. I really suspect that poor software experience (compared to other Android manufacturers) is one of the most reasons of declining sales and customers turning their heads away from Samsung. They think customers don't pay attention to small things, but in fact they do notice that Samsung UI is inferior compared to other Android manufacturers.

I hate the current One UI way of how the brightness slider looks, you have to slide 2 swipes down and also the big area wasted telling you the time at the top of it.

I honestly prefer samsung UI to stock android. People may say that the stock android is the fastest and cleanest looking but, it looks boooooring and plain.
I tried stock android before, but the speed difference is negligible...
Currently using samsung experience, and I'm happy with many themes available to choose every week...

s-pen pusher, 20 Jul 2019samsung phones do not lag anymore since 2014, well at least... moreI was talking about UI. If you compare it to lighter skins, you can see micro (and not so micro) stutters that other skins don't have. But I guess Samsung users are so used to them that they don't even notice.

add back those useful featuresm please- like the smart rotate wherein the device looks at your face's orientation so it doesn't rotate the screen when you lay on the bed. or that one that allows you to sketch with the s-pen to the edges of the screen, i think you call those flat screens?
