What tests exactly did it pass?
Open-and-close test? Scratch test? Flame test?

"passes all tests"
Doesn't mean much when your tests don't reflect reality. I'm sure the original Fold passed all its own tests too.

Did Huawei pay all for these first couple of comments? After the fiasco, the first time, they are definitely not rushing this out to beat Mate X. If anything, Huawei delayed for further testing just as much after seeing what happened to Samsung.

i will laught loud if this will fail again, never than less...Mate X beat this in all aspects so...this will be only just some experiment and attempt for a tech will not be sucessful anytime soon.
anyway if this goes way beyond i think, tjats not sammy will be in the first places since mate x as i mention and xiaomi phones look more futuristic and powerful.
this look like a kid toy

They are rushing again to launch before the Mate X (expected to release in September).
Also, lab testing will never be as accurate as human testing. I would advise buyers to wait at least a month after release before buying this product (or any other foldable for that matter). Better safe than sorry.

I am first to bet 500 bucks the phone will be out of shelves again due some error which samsung will go fix again in less than a 3 days from initial release.
