Design is absolutely fine. Lack of headphone jack is absolutely foolish, it can easily be a way to distinguish the phone as having no compromises, but I guess waterproofing with the 3.5mm is too expensive. Of course no one will use their Gesture Radar tech.

Some have pop up cameras, tear drop notches, punch holes, or normal bezels, you know?
If you're talking about the back, there are Oppo Reno, OnePlus 7/7 Pro and Redmi K20 Pro that are different, if you think they are ugly, to each his own.

The phone looks actually really nice. I would prefer this design with all the functionality over iPhone xs or any chinese flagships.

Anonymous, 20 Jul 2019Im here just to see another complain of haters.. cheers..lolNot hating, but that Soli/silly sensors can go. I'd have taken a 3.5mm jack over that. Hoping for a proper battery in the small one this time. I'd even cope with a thicker device, if I could avoid battery anxiety.

It's kinda growing on me. I assume that they did their best to reduce the top bezels but I also believe that that it could be reduced a little bit more. All I can say for the back is that it's better than Apple's but it would be more beautiful if the camera module was middle-cenetered (in that case the similarities to mate 20 would be inevitable) and I also miss the dual-finish pattern on the back. Overall, it's nice I think and I'm a Huawei fan Btw but I guess this doesn't look as bad as I thought.
